API Legal Disclaimer

The API and its accompanying documentation, including all technical and textual content, are the exclusive intellectual property of instantCMR Ltd. All rights related to the API, code samples, data structures, and associated developer materials are reserved.

2. Disclaimer of Liability

The Provider shall not be held liable for the operation, continuous availability, accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data transmitted through the API. Use of the API is at the user’s own risk. The Provider shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, malfunction of, interruption of, or restricted access to the API.

3. Terms of Use and Restrictions

The API may only be used in the manner and for the purposes described in the documentation. Reverse engineering, unauthorized modification, automated data scraping, or any other activity that interferes with normal operation is strictly prohibited. The secure storage and use of API keys and authentication data are solely the user’s responsibility. The Provider reserves the right to restrict or terminate API access at any time without prior notice, especially in the event of a security incident, misuse, or excessive query load (rate limit violation).

4. Data Protection and Security

Data created or processed through the API is subject to the instantCMR Ltd Privacy Policy, available at https://instantcmr.com/privacy. While the Provider takes all reasonable measures to ensure the secure transmission and handling of data, it cannot fully guarantee the confidentiality of information transmitted over the internet.

5. Right to Modify

The Provider reserves the right to modify the API, its endpoints, parameters, authentication mechanisms, and related documentation at any time without prior notice. Any such modifications become effective upon publication of the updated documentation.

6. Service Suspension

The Provider reserves the right to temporarily suspend API services for maintenance purposes. The Provider shall not be held liable for partial or complete service outages resulting from force majeure events (e.g., network failure, natural disaster, third-party system failure, or governmental action).

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

For matters not regulated in this Legal Disclaimer, the provisions of Hungarian law, in particular the Civil Code (Act V of 2013), shall apply. The competent court having jurisdiction shall be the one corresponding to the Provider’s registered seat.
